Get To Know Mr.Vokalaie Better!

Sometimes ,here and there , students come up and ask for a heart to heart with their beloved teacher! Well,it is not surprising when the teacher is not just a teacher but a brother and an artist. Mr.Vokalaei one of my best friends at the ILI ….. 🙂

Please tell us about yourself Mr.Vokalayee!
In the Name of God.
I’m Ehsan Vokalaei. I was born in Yazd in 1985.  I am married and have a three-yearl-old son, called Hesam. I started learning English when I was five at home with my mother; however, I learned it professionally here at the ILI. I remember that Mr. Aliakbari and Mr. Mirhosseini were my first teachers to whom I really owe a lot since they made me enthusiastic and eager in attending ILI classes to the last level. In 2003 when I was in my last year at Shahed high school, I was doing my best to enter a medical university, but just six months before the examination I made my most important decision of life which was to study English. Although I was accepted as an Anesthesia Technician at Shahid Sadoughi Medical University, I preferred to go to Yazd University to study English literature which I’ve never regretted and presently I am quite happy working in a classroom rather than a surgery room. To further my studies I continued to study my M.A. at Azad university of Isfahan in 2009. I have been teaching English for 9 years, and I have been a teacher at the ILI since 2006.
So with 9 years of experience you are teaching high levels at the ILI, right?
Yes, I teach all levels, of course in the young adult department.
I see.. Is it just teaching or do you have another job?
Actually I do have another job. As you know I have an Insurance Agency , but no profession can be as pleasurable as teaching. To be honest I believe teaching is something special.
Do you also believe Ili classes are “better” ?
Yes, I must say They are the best.
How come?
ILI classes are almost the best due to some factors. First of all everything is systematic and methodical here. The atmosphere; i.e. teacher-student relationship, is sort of friendly and warm. The last but not the least, it is the teachers’ efficacy that makes ILI classes different.
So far so good! Hope its reputation last for ever with best students! Who is the best student to you?
Those respectful, successful, willing, active, enthusiastic, diligent, encouraged, energized, motivated (ooooh, enough?) ones are the best.
🙂 And what is the list of adjectives for your best colleagues? Who is your best co worker!
Almost all my colleagues are my best friends and it is a great pleasure to be with them. However, I think dear Mr. Bagheri is my most beloved one whom I have the honor of being his student.
Me too…he has always inspired me in my life! Is there a level that you prefer teaching ? You know what mean..the feeling..
Yes…well I enjoy teaching! No matter what the level is, yet my favorite levels are Start and Reach.
And is it because of a good memory you have from these levels?
I have a lot of beautiful memories during my teaching career; the best of them is when I see my students’ success and happiness in their studies and life. For instance, I get cheered up when I see the student who was in my start class is studying advance levels or applying for TOEFL or so.
What do you do in your free time? Hobbies…and the like..
As it is common among teachers reading is my first priority in my leisure time. In addition, doing some outdoor physical exercises like jogging and mountain climbing and generally nature are enjoyable to me.
But I have hardly see you as my companion on my hiking trips…I mean wish you joined us ..!
Thanks..sure …. Oh I almost forgot, I get pleasure from taking pictures here and there. Here you can visit my works .
Do read
Yes !  Students’ blog is the part I liked the most. Besides, free discussions can be beneficial to the students.
